The Central Bank of Yemen in Sana'a warns of a massive depletion of foreign currencies carried out by the mercenaries of the US-Saudi aggression in Ma'rib governorate and smuggling them abroad.

The mercenaries of the aggression in Ma'rib governorate are carrying out large-scale draining of foreign currency and smuggling it to other governorates and abroad.

They also take out the sums they have hoarded in illegal currency through looting and organized corruption and convert them into foreign currencies.

Here, we call on exchange companies and facilities in Marib and neighboring governorates to keep their foreign currency balances and not risk selling them to mercenaries in exchange for attractive prices of the illegal currency offered by mercenaries.

We hold the countries of aggression and their mercenaries fully responsible for the escalating and continuous collapse of the riyal, which will affect the living situation in the occupied governorates in general and Marib governorate in particular.
